# How to get auto AVIF enabled for my account?

In my settings under image optimization I see it is not enabled. How do I get it enabled for automatic conversion? Can I still use it to force load images in AVIF format?

You can check if you have AVIF enabled for your account or not from the [Image Optimization settings section](https://imagekit.io/dashboard/settings/images) of the dashboard.

If it is not enabled and

1. If you are on a paid account, you can reach out to [support@imagekit.io](mailto:support@imagekit.io) to get the same enabled. Some older paid plans may be required to upgrade their plan for this feature to be available.
2. If you are on a custom or enterprise pricing plan, you can additionally reach out to your assigned customer success manager, and get their help to rework your pricing plan to include this feature.
