I connected the storage under external storage? Can I now upload images and videos to my connected S3 storage using ImageKit APIs?

No. The ImageKit API is used for adding images or videos or managing them in the ImageKit Media Library only.

If you have a backup bucket connected to ImageKit, then we will also upload the image you upload to the Media Library to your connected S3 backup storage. But still, the ImageKit API first uploads the assets to the ImageKit Media Library only.
